This 3700 square foot newly built west coast designed home is warm and inviting inside and out. The fir logs were imported from Gold River, B.C. just north of Campbell River, B.C. and milled by the owner in a mill here in Campbell River. The siding is dark grey blue smart board. This color on the house with the darker stain on the fir really makes the house stand out. The drive way is exposed aggregate with stamped color inlay and boarder around the perimeter of the drive way. Open concept living space on the main floor consist of open chefs kitchen with custom hand crafted cabinetry done in Black Walnut all granite counters, SS appliances as well as an indoor grill and a large custom pantry. This floor has vaulted ceiling in the living room with floor to ceiling windows across the front of the home to take in the view. On the far wall of this room is a hand crafted rock fire place. Each rock was carefully chosen from a special fault line on Vancouver Island and carried out of the area in buckets by the gentleman who crafted the fire place. He placed each stone slowly and carefully as it is a piece of art all on its own. Off the dining area there are French doors that open onto a wraparound glass rail for a perfect view. Part of the deck is sheltered and heated so the family can enjoy it anytime of the year. All floors and decks are wired with surround sound in main areas, makes entertaining a breeze.
Two bedrooms as well as the master are on the top floor, master bedroom and full ensuite both have beautiful view. Ensuite is a four piece bath with heated tile floor as well as auto on off floor Led lighting for convenience. Large walk-in custom finished closet. There is a large main three piece bath with heated tile floor off the other bedrooms. The bottom floor of this home has large media room/ exercise room with connecting bathroom/ wine room/ as well as the two large storage rooms and mechanical room. The basement floor is heated by a boiler system which makes this area a warm and cozy area to hang out.
